ive been told that my photos arent turning up on my feed. i made some changes, but am unsure why that is happening. i know it often takes some time for the actual feed to update after changes have been made. but i didnt do anything that should get rid of the photos...bare with me.

ive got strep throat and an ear infection-but did manage to go to my friend sharla's baby shower yesterday so we could do a maternity photo shoot. thus winning loyalist friend of the year award. cant wait to show you the photos-she is such a gorgeous pregnant momma!

hey guys, i just wanted to post a quick reminder about the unforgettables crop-a benefit fundraiser for The Unforgettables Foundation--a non-profit charity that raises money to help grieving families with expenses after their child has died.

Cost: $100 per scrapbooker + a donation of at least $100 for TUF (prizes for the higest donations will be awarded!) Cost covers 2 meals, t-shirt, goodie bag & more! Lots of opportunity drawings will be held to win retreat weekends with friends - and so much more!

tomorrow we are on our way to hawaii.
we are going to be staying with our wonderful friends the ramanlals, you can see their cute fam here. we met last year when they hired me for a session and we became friends immediately. i cant wait to introduce them to the other parts of us-our kids!
after months of agonizing over whether or not we thought mckenna could handle a trip like this, we decided the best thing for her would be to stay home and get spoiled by her uncle shane and aunt rachel. i am so torn in two about this decision-my heart literally hurts thinking of leaving her behind. i cant imagine going somewhere without our little nut-brown hair, doing something as a family, but not with our entire FAMILY. but this is just not the type of vacation for her. she is not a big fan of the beach or "winging it" without a schedule, and we will be doing a lot of both.
anyone who may try to get ahold of me, i probably wont be checking email again until january 9th when we get home.

so, ive been trying to think of something FUN to do on my blog-some type of contest/give-away.
the awesome RADTASTIC kaiser's recently did a photo contest where they had their blog readers choose their favorite ring image. i loved the idea-and started thinking of what kind of image i could use.
and i came up with feet!
i shoot feet constantly, on every session unless asked not to. and the weirdest thing is, i HATE feet in real life. i hate for anyone else's feet to touch me. only baby feet and anna feet can i handle. other feet can touch my actual feet-feet on feet touching is okay. but do not touch me ANYWHERE else on my body with your skank feet.
freakishly enough i love PHOTOS of feet. especially when there are different sizes or shoes. its just an image i like-all of the legs and feet the focus of a photo. love it. its different, but just another portrait of a person. another part of them.
okay, so onto the contest. its actually going to be two parts. for the first part, i am going to post some of my favorite feet shots from the year. you guys will vote. winner gets their foot photo enlarged to 12x18 and printed on art canvas, ready to hang!
